A 5 CHF Dinner
OK, so the dinner isn’t 5 CHF (in fact there is a minimum order of 25 CHF per delivery) but that’s the price for having some of the best Basel fare (Lilly’s, Negishi, Mandir, etc.) brought straight to your door. The 5 CHF delivery fee is the only additional cost added to participating restaurants’ regular menu prices. And speaking as someone who often works in her pajamas all day, 5 CHF is a small price to pay for not having to get dressed to get fed.

The site organizes restaurants by type of cuisine and even features an online ordering form, which allows you to select your dinner and tell them what time you’d like it delivered. Or, if you’re like me, you’ll just choose to have it delivered as soon as possible (usually no more than 30 or 40 minutes). Then put on those PJs and wait for the doorbell to ring. Dinner is served.
